Mark Capon Trio

Manhattan based jazz guitarist Mark Capon is a veteran performer who has played in many jazz venues in New York City and surrounding areas as a band leader and sideman. He was twice awarded jazz study grants from the National Endowment for The Arts to study with renowned jazz guitarists Tal Farlow and Billy Bauer. He was twice selected as a contestant in the Fish Middleton Jazz Scholarship Competition. In 1994 Mark appeared as thefeatured guest artist on the cable television show ‘TELEJAZZ’. In 1999 Mark released his CD ‘The Jazz Guitar Of Mark Capon’. Mark has also been a guest on various jazz radio shows and appeared in a number of music documentaries.
