Arthur`s tavern

One of the Oldest West Village Bars

Jazz Club in NYC

Why We're One of the Best Bars in the West Village

Unlike other jazz bars in NYC, we’ve decided to keep our legacy in our ambiance while providing a reboot that modern bargoers will enjoy. We strive to not just make you a good drink: we want you to have the best unique experience here at Arthur’s Tavern rather than going to other pubs and bars in the area.

We offer live music every night with no cover charge inside an intimate atmosphere full of friends old and new. Our friendly staff are here to make you feel like you’re in your neighborhood bar where you can grab a drink or two and mingle with friends & strangers alike.

Jazz Bar in New York City

The sound of the instruments playing can be heard from outside to give you a sneak peek of what to expect when imbibing in your favorite alcoholic beverage or something new that’s unique to our menu. If our walls can talk, they’ll tell stories of performances by jazz legends like the one-and-only Charlie Parker and the legendary Roy Hargrove.

Arthur’s Tavern has regular acts who grace our stage on a regular basis to make our jazz bar a part of your routine. They change up their sets to give you a variety of different songs, which is most appropriate since jazz is all about playing based on feeling. On occasion, we will have special acts for a truly unique music-listening experience.
