Black Olive Jazz features Kay Kostopoulos on vocals and finger cymbals with a stellar band. Kay is a renowned recording artist based bi-coastally in San Francisco and New York City. Kay draws from her theatre background and from her Mediterranean heritage to establish a unique sound in Jazz. She is a former Stanford University teacher and actress. In New York, she has appeared at 54 Below, Bryant Park, Birdland, The Russian Samovar, Pangea, and the Stuyvesant Cove Music Festival. Kay has also performed at festivals and venues all around the San Francisco Bay Area, including the Fillmore Jazz Festival, Vallejo Jazz Festival, Sonoma and Napa Jazz Societies, and many more.
