Jr. Mack with Noé Socha Duo


Guitarist and vocalist, Junior Mack, picked up a guitar and taught himself to play at the age of nine.

His soulful style is rooted in gospel and blues. Among his vocal influences are The Soul Stirrers with Sam Cooke and Paul Foster, The Sensational Nightingales with Reverend Julius Cheeks, and Gregg Allman. Inspiration for his guitar playing developed from artists such as Lightnin’ Hopkins, Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, Jan Akkerman and Wes Montgomery.

Nominated for a Grammy in 2012 with The Heritage Blues Orchestra, Junior is also member of Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band since 2006 and has sat in or worked with The Allman Brothers Band, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, The Marshall Tucker Band, Robert Randolph, Dickey Betts, Honeyboy Edwards and Cyndi Lauper to name a few.

Noé Socha Bio

Noé (pronounced ‘No-ay’) Socha is a Broklyn based guitarist and harmonica player from Carpi, Italy. He began playing the guitar at age 12, influenced by artists like Bob Dylan and Neil Young. While studying music at Musicology, he discovered the Blues and immediately fell in love. His favorite Blues artists include Mississippi John Hurt, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and Lightening Hopkins. Noé has created his own signature sound, pairing fiery guitar technique with virtuosic harmonica playing. He has expanded his repertoire to an electric mixture of Jazz, R&B, Country, and Pop.

He studied at Berklee College of Music and received a BA in Guitar Performance. After winning several awards at Berklee including the ”Jimi Hendrix Award” for the college’s leading guitarist and the “Billboard Magazine Endowed Scholarship” presented to the college’s top student, Noé has had the great honor of touring, performing, and recording with artists such as Nona Hendrix (Labelle), Vernon Reid (Living Color), and GRAMMY Award-Winners, Javier Limón, and Paula Cole.

In 2017, he released the album, Blues and the World Beyond, which he recorded as one half of Likho Duo. Noé was featured alongside SZA and other artists as a part of Mastercard’s Start Something Priceless campaign in 2018. His work was also highlighted on the iHeartRADIO podcast, Sleepwalkers, as well as Reddit, for his yearlong project entitled ”The Everyday Project” on his Youtube channel called Blind Selfie in 2019. Most recently he was interviewed for CBS New York in a story called ‘’Blind in the Pandemic
