Kassandra Charalampi Trio

Kassandra Charalampi is a New York based jazz vocalist who has earned sustained acclaim in the international jazz scene through her exceptional vocal abilities and live performances. Originally from Greece, she first established herself as a jazz vocalist performing in big festivals in Spain such as the world-renowned San Sebastian Jazz Festival- Heineken Jazzaldia, the Mojo Workin’ Donostia Festival, and other prestigious European venues throughout the 2010s. In 2017 she released her first cd of jazz standards under the name of Couch Duo, with the Greek jazz guitarist Minas Liakos. Since moving to NYC in 2018 to expand her knowledge of jazz music and history, she has become a mainstay on the West Village scene and has been invited to share the stage with renowned jazz musicians such as Johnny O’Neal, Peter Bernstein and Michael Kanan among others and performed at venues such as Hermana NYC, Mezzrow Jazz Club and The Django at The Roxy Hotel.
