Hope DeBates & North Forty perform a diverse range of music, including country classics, alt country original songs, 70/80’s pop covers, with some R&B and jazz standards in the mix. All done with a creative and unique approach.

Drummer, composer and educator, Tomohiro Mori was born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1992. He started playing the drums at age 3 and piano at age 5. At 17 he was awarded a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music. Since graduating in 2015, he has released two albums as a leader and performed at famous venues in NYC as well as a US tour.

Growing up as a 70s kid in Long Island City, part of Lewis' societal foundation is deeply rooted in the height of the soul and funk eras.

His mother is renowned Trova singer Xiomara Laugart and his father is folk singer-guitarist Alberto Tosca. Introduced to guitar at age four, Tosca was also playing piano by age seven and soon joined his parents on-stage playing his first show at Casa de las Americas.

His mother is renowned Trova singer Xiomara Laugart and his father is folk singer-guitarist Alberto Tosca. Introduced to guitar at age four, Tosca was also playing piano by age seven and soon joined his parents on-stage playing his first show at Casa de las Americas.
